The cream is blended with Kyoto Uji matcha carefully ground with a stone mill to enhance the aroma and colour of matcha (50% stone mill blend in Kyoto Uji matcha). Monaka is coated with matcha chocolate to match the taste of the cream and has been devised to suppress moisture.
